Case overview

Agrolife GmbH supplies oilseeds, cereals, and feed additives across Germany, the EU, and Ukraine. Operating across multiple jurisdictions meant handling large volumes of personal data daily — and GDPR compliance wasn’t optional. Their existing data handling practices had gaps, and they needed to get compliant before it became a liability. We audited their data flows, built the necessary infrastructure, and brought them to full GDPR compliance.

The Brief
Agrolife handles personal data from clients and partners across three markets — Germany, the EU, and Ukraine. GDPR requirements are strict, penalties are high, and their existing processes weren’t built with compliance in mind. They needed a partner to review everything, identify gaps, and implement a system that meets regulatory standards without disrupting daily operations.

Our Approach
We built a custom data protection module integrated directly into their website — secure data handling with user controls for managing personal data, fully aligned with GDPR requirements. Working with legal experts, we drafted a Privacy Policy that clearly explains how data is collected, processed, and stored. We also implemented a cookie consent system giving visitors full control over tracking preferences. Everything was designed to be transparent to users and defensible under regulation.

The Results
Agrolife GmbH now operates in full GDPR compliance across all markets. Data breach risk is minimized with proper handling protocols in place. Clients and partners see transparent privacy policies — which directly strengthens trust and retention. The company went from potential regulatory exposure to a competitive advantage: in agribusiness, most competitors haven’t bothered with proper compliance yet.
