Case overview

US Bitcoin Corp (US BTC) builds and operates data centers for Bitcoin mining across North America. Their Niagara Falls facility had grown fast, but the network infrastructure hadn’t scaled with it — a patchwork of different equipment from different vendors, creating inefficiencies and security gaps. We audited the entire network, replaced and unified the hardware, and set up continuous monitoring. The result: a standardized, secure infrastructure that became the blueprint for their other facilities.

The Brief
US BTC’s Niagara Falls facility was running on a mix of network equipment that had been added over time without a unified plan. As mining operations scaled, the network couldn’t keep up — performance bottlenecks, management complexity, and growing security exposure. For a company whose entire business depends on uptime and network stability, this was a critical problem that needed solving fast.

Our Approach
Three phases. First — a full network audit to map every device, connection, and vulnerability. Second — equipment unification: we replaced the patchwork of vendors with standardized, high-performance hardware, making the network faster to manage and harder to breach. Third — continuous monitoring deployment, so any issue gets flagged and resolved before it causes downtime.

The Results
Unexpected downtime dropped by 35%. A unified network that’s simpler to manage and significantly more secure. Lower maintenance costs — fewer vendors, fewer compatibility issues, less time spent on troubleshooting. Most importantly, US BTC now uses this project as a template for network upgrades at their other facilities.
