Digital government workshop

Case overview

Diia is Ukraine’s national e-government platform — digital documents, digital signatures, and hundreds of public services in one app, built by the Ministry of Digital Transformation. We worked with Diia as an IT contractor on the project implementation and represented the platform at Dubai Expo 2020, running workshops that showcased Ukraine’s digital government capabilities to an international audience.

Implementation

Digital government workshop and consulting at Dubai Expo 2020

The Brief

Diia had already proven itself domestically — millions of Ukrainians using digital IDs, driver’s licenses, and government services through a single app. The next step was international visibility. Dubai Expo 2020 was the stage: show foreign governments, investors, and tech partners what Ukraine had built, and open the door to collaborations and investment in Ukrainian digital infrastructure.

Our Approach

We designed and delivered a series of workshops that walked international audiences through Diia’s architecture, capabilities, and the broader digitization strategy behind it. Each session was structured to go beyond a product demo — we presented the investment case, the scalability model, and how other governments could adapt similar approaches. Post-event, we maintained engagement with key contacts to convert interest into concrete partnerships.

The Results

The workshops put Diia — and Ukraine’s digital capabilities — on the radar of international governments, investors, and tech companies. Multiple follow-up discussions led to new partnership opportunities. For us, this project demonstrated that our expertise extends beyond infrastructure and security into strategic consulting and international representation at the highest level.
